06-01-2017

INTA (Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial, National Institute for Aerospace Technology) offers up to 6 Ramón y Cajal (RyC) Research Contracts for the 2016 Call in the field of Astrobiology and other areas. We need scientists with experience in topics such as Planetary Geology, Planetary Atmospheres and Climatology (Mars and Europe, mainly), Prebiotic Chemistry, Spectroscopic Techniques (Raman, IR) applied to the search for biomarkers, Electronics and Space Optics, Microbial Systems’ Biology and Bioinformatics, Fluidics and Microfluidics, Simulation of Planetary Environments, etc.

RyC scientists will have the opportunity to develop their own lines of research, always in the field of Astrobiology. The CAB has excellent facilities and equipment and a unique transdisciplinary atmosphere.

The CAB is a center associated with the NASA Astrobiology lnstitute (NAI) with which it maintains a close and fluent collaboration. RyC scientists will be able to integrate, from the outset, into ongoing projects with other NASA centers, or to create new collaborations with other groups. RyC scientists are encouraged to apply for their own projects, both in national and international calls.
